This module provides students with a broad understanding of contemporary sport business through three complementary courses. Together, the courses develop knowledge of the social, organizational, and economic foundations of sport and physical activity, the planning and marketing of sports events, and the distinctive business logic of esports. Students learn to recognize the roles of key stakeholders, understand volunteering, networking, sponsorship, and service processes, and apply management and strategic thinking in both traditional sport and esports contexts. The module builds practical competence in designing sports-related business activities, event concepts, and marketing solutions while strengthening students’ ability to work in administrative, developmental, and management-oriented roles in the sport sector.
