The academic year is divided into two semesters:

  • Autumn Semester: October – February
  • Spring Semester: March– July

Academic calender

Students must be nominated by their home university. After nomination, they receive instructions to apply via the Thomas More platform.
Deadlines:

  • Winter Semester: Nomination by 1 May, Application from 1 April to 1 June
  • Summer Semester: Nomination by 1 November, Application from 1 October to 1 December

International support

DIT supports the Online Learning Agreement system. Students should coordinate with their home university to complete it.

DIT provides student cards that grant access to university facilities and discounts. Availability for exchange students should be confirmed with the International Office.

Exchange students receive access credentials to DIT’s student portal and systems upon enrollment.

DIT offers private housing and student dormitories. The accommodation team assists international students in Deggendorf and Pfarrkirchen.
