This BIP is for researchers, teachers and other staff members of the HEROES Alliance that work in the field of Computer Science and/or Cyber Security and are interested in the unique Deggendorf approach of Technology Transfer Centers/our research campuses:
Since 2009, DIT has been successively establishing these special research facilities in the neighbouring districts in lower Bavaria and Oberpfalz.
Experts there develop special application-related solutions in close co-operation with high-tech companies. The symbiosis of scientific research and its commercial application is at the centre of this institutional work.
This close cooperation dynamizes the regional economy and sets new technological trends far away from urban areas. Companies benefit from access to DIT's laboratory and research capacities, while research interns and prospective graduates gain valuable industry contacts.
Participating Technology Campuses:
TC Cham : Intelligent Robotics & Intelligent Production
TC Freyung: Applied Computer Science and Bionics
TC Grafenau: Digitalisation, AI and Big Data
TC Vilshofen: Cyber Security, cryptographic engineering, embedded systems
